I must be honest with you; I am Kent's niece. I have lived through the story. You see when I was born in 1977, Kent was already in a wheelchair. However, I have read the book and believe it portrays the entire story quite accurately. This is an awesome account of the years and progressions of Kent Waldrep.

Kent Waldrup is an inspiration to everyone who reads his story. Tenacious and persistent, he has tried to make the world a better place for all of us, while successfully enlisting the aid of big names in Texas and Alabama. He counted Bear Bryant one of his best friends. And all of this after his accident.
