If you camp, hike or ski then this is a great whistle to use.

Pealess means the cold will not matter and it will blow no matter what the weather.

High pitched and piercing

Compact and loud, but a year after keeping it handily on my shoulder strap, the part that attaches to the ring broke (it is plastic).

I am very pleased with the sound and the style of this fine little whistle!
I was also delighted with the set of 2 handy, different sized key rings that were included.

This is an interesting little whistle. There is no ball in it, it is all one piece. It feels different to blow than the old-fashioned kind, but is easy to make a good, loud noise with. It was shipped quickly by the merchant.

The shippging was too expensive it was more then the price of the whistle. Another thing that bug me is that you have to blow very hard to have a loud sound. Not like the other fox 40.

I keep this whistle in my pocket for occasional use as a signaling device. It's small, loud, and looks sturdy. The whistle is 1" wide, 2 1/16" long, and 3/8" thick, it would easily fit on a key-chain.

I've had this for years! I love it! It's compact, loud, readily available in my keychain and NEON!!!

I like this whistle's slim design. I wear it when shopping in rough areas. If I am apprehended, I intend to use the whistle to draw attention to me and the assailant. This whistle is much louder than my voice, and carries well across other sounds.

Very disappointed in this whistle because, well, it doesn't whistle. It just sounds like air being blown through a piece of plastic. Purchased for safety reasons but now need to find something of better quality.

Its very important for everyone to have a survival whistle. A fox 40 can get you help in a crisis if you ever need it. Remember Katrina.
