Along with being the high school supervisor, I am the men's gym teacher at a private academy. This whistle is perfect for the job. It is loud, clear, and very nice quality.
I would recommend a second lanyard because it can rub a little if you are running with it and it is wet from sweat. This however is not a deterrent from using it. I love it and I hope you do too.

Not much to say other than this is great! Good value, since it comes with a lanyard. I love Fox40. I used them for lifeguarding and now as a coach. Good sound, very loud, and comfortable strap.

I recently purchased this whistle for wrestling officiating. This a great whistle. It has a nice break-away lanyard so you won't have to worry about it pulling on your neck. The whistle sound is great. It also has a sharp sound. Although this is over-all a great whistle, I wish I would have purchased one with a rubbery sleeve to prevent slippage.
