Although I'm only using this for youth hockey, it is perfect. The rubber grips help alot and the sound is loud and has the hockey whistle pitch to it.

I bought this whistle to ref competitive league games but bought only one just in case it didn't work or fit well.
This whistle is great! It's comfortable on the fingers and has a loud pitch which is clear and audible and gets the job done. I'll be buying a second one shortly.

One of the best, if not the best, hockey ref whistles out there. Get two and keep one in the bag when your buddy forgot theres.

The whistle is very loud with the unique low frequency that seems to undercut crowd noise very easily. Also, the tip makes it impossible to bash your teeth on the metal when moving too quickly to care.
