I've traveled a similar road, having been "with it" for ove 5 years. Kathy's stories made me laugh, then made me cry. It's about time someone captured what carnys are all about!This is a "must read" and "beach read" a "fun read" - and best of all, a "pass it on" read. I loved it!

I have two children about the same ages as those described in the book. What the author went through really gave me an appreciation for what I have. A real "pick up your skirt and move on" story. Furthermore, this single mom is someone real we can all learn from. Kudos to her for turning her life around. Very inspiring!
