Great book for precocious readers!,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Fox Eyes (A Stepping Stone Book(TM)) (Library Binding)
This book is unusual and wonderful. It's excellent for precocious readers (bright children whose reading ability outstrips their ages) -- interesting, thought-provoking plot, rich language, yet not too long, and the font is slightly larger than usual. All of us, from my youngest, who's 5, through my 56 year old husband, loved this book.

This Amazon listing is all screwed up.,
By Dwight Blubaugh "MichiBlue" (The only Eaton Rapids on Earth, MI, USA) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Fox Eyes (A Stepping Stone Book(TM)) (Paperback)
Amazon has screwed the listing for this book up just a bit. The School Library Journal review is partly from Mordicai Gerstein's book, FOX EYES (the first four lines of the review), and partly from Gloria Whelan's book, RICH AND FAMOUS IN STARVATION LAKE (the remainder of the review). You can see this same SLJ review on the listings for FOX EYES by Gloria Whelan, (which isn't even her book, it's Gerstein's) and RICH AND FAMOUS IN STARVATION LAKE, also by Gloria Whelan.
While I have not read Gerstein's FOX EYES, I have read Whelan's RICH AND FAMOUS IN STARVATION LAKE, and will include my review of that book on its listing. |
