I own one of these in URBAN BLACK and one in COYOTE BROWN ...

NOTHING NOT TO *LOVE* about this pack ... has D-Rings, on top, to attach to your pack (front or back, with S-biners) ... Very well and ruggedly built ... comes with an ATTACHED, "stash-away" waist-belt and a detachable shoulder strap (hooks to D-rings). LOTS of capacity but STILL smaller than a Maxpedition Sabercat. The problem with Sabercats is that they are just too large and are easy to overload ... Sabercats (loaded) tend to get too heavy for a waist-pack and everyone ends up adding suspenders, which defeats the whole purpose of a waist-pack. THIS JUMBO Deployment bag is LARGE enough to carry my Laplander Folding Saw, small-binoculars, radio, and lots of other gear ... even has some strap-loops, on the bottom (one left and one right) ... you CAN take a poncho and a compact tarp, for instance. If you DO overload it, the shoulder-strap is long enough to wear across the opposite shoulder, messenger-style and will ease the loading on the waist-belt. Can be carried like a brief-case (using the integral top handle) ... Like a messenger bag (on your side, with the waist-belt stowed), as a standard fanny or belly-pack OR as a combo waist and messenger bag.
I use this pack in combination with a UTG "gear-slinger" side-bag, which further distributes my loadout and adds a 40-oz water-bottle carrier ... I sometimes wear a photographer's vest and/or BDU cargo pants, as well, depending on my EDC (and mission).

Again ... TRUTH ! ... Nothing not to LOVE !! Durable, water-resistant, great zippers and stitching, heavy cordura, multiple carry configurations, integrates with larger packs ... Just plain works and at a VERY good price-point ... DO IT !! Pull that lever !

* * * * * FIVE STARS (without reservation).

I ordered this bag because I wanted a versatile but inexpensive pack for EDC that would be useful for hiking, camping and emergency survival situations. As I waited for the bag to arrive I had only two major concerns:
1) Is this bag going to be too small?
2) Is this bag going to be a cheap piece of crap?

I actually REALLY liked this bag for the first few days, BUT...

...as it turns out this bag is way too small and it's a cheap piece of crap.

The bag itself would be large enough were it less compartmentalized. You are limited as to what you can fit inside the bag because of the unnecessary dividers, and the lack of a clamshell type of zipper means that anything placed in the compartments infringes upon the space available in the other pockets. I loaded it up with relatively compressible supplies and within a day the stitching on the front compartment had separated at least a cm along one side. Not to mention the constant fraying that seems to get worse and worse every time you open the bag. This thing is doo doo.

Use as my cleaning kit. Military gives me so many bags that I used them for everything, found I had cleaning supplies in all my bags. For the price, tis great and acts as a great cleaning kit. Can use for multiple items, even for hunting, daily hikes, whatever...

When I bought this I was going to use this for a different purpose. but it was a little to small for that. So I'm using it for something else, which makes it versital i my mind.
