I was very excited to receive my quiche pans, and after the first batch, indeed, the fluted sides give the quiches a beautiful shape. On the downside, the pans rusted after the first handwashing!

I couldn't believe it, obviously, being made in france, I guess they don't use stainless steel.

They work well, and don't need to be heavy considering the size. However, it is best to wash by hand, or make sure you don't use a lemon dishwasher detergent, as they will rust easily.
