I was leery of purchasing a cookie press after reading reviews of other new products. But, the misses was insistent on getting one. I could not find a review anywhere for this press and took a chance since it was made of aluminum. The only plastic on this press is the plunger and the decorating tips (not shown). We have used this about three times since November and my wife rates this as "excellent". The only thing she said was the handle could be a little tighter, but does not see this as being an issue in the future. Some complaints with other presses are the dough is difficult to push through causing other presses to break. Not the case with this press.

When I received this cookie press it looked like one I would like, however, it is cheaply made and completely broke the first time I used it. Unfortunately, I didn't try it out before the return period ran out (lesson learned). I've had and used several cookie presses in the past and this is by far the worst!!

After couple of times using it stopped working.
The is a little metal piece with spring that locks the pusher on the main cylinder.
Wear in that metal piece is seen after first use, and after second use it was too much and it is just not locking anymore! cheap Chinese stuff - do not buy
