Found this and it truly identical to the Tupperware one, except for the logo!.

This one does exactly what it's supposed to do; keep you from leaving a water trail from your sink to your freezer, and making stacking easy.
Linda Keehn
If you put it in the freezer and it is not perfectly level the water will just flow out from under the lid.

We have a manual-defrost freezer and thought covered ice cube trays would help reduce the excess frost lots of moisture from open containers of liquid produce. Covered trays also won't absorb food odors such as garlic as readily as open trays. These non-spill trays seem to fit the bill. The rounded-bottom cubes release easily with a twist of the flexible plastic mold, and their size is slightly smaller than average, which is to our liking. If you jiggle the tray a few times back and forth on a level surface just after filling, it breaks half of the air bubbles, making for a clearer-looking cube. (Make sure the cap is closed if you try this!) There is some problem with over- or under-filling due to the somewhat opaque cover, which is impossible to see through, so we use a pyrex measuring cup to pour the water in; each tray holds about 1-1/4 cups. The lid on one mold cracked, and the trays did bend permanently to a bowed shape in merely a few weeks, however, so they are not as sturdy as we would've liked. They are not as tight as some brands auch as tupperware, either, and will leak if not carried horizontally.

My husband uses only distilled water for his ice; having open trays were a constant problem w/ spillage. Got 3 of these for him, and they are well worth the $. Note: you don't need to guess how much water to put in the trays; they hold a perfect 1 cup each!

One year later, and I'm shopping for new trays. The tops of each tray have become very brittle over the past few months, and easily crack and break. Still, before this happened, they really were great, and based on reviews of other covered ice trays, I'll probably buy them again. Just know that they won't last long, and are a little pricey for something that needs to be replaced every year.

This is supposed to be a no spill ice cube tray but all it does is spill. The lid does nothing. If you put it in the freezer and it is not perfectly level the water will just flow out from under the lid. It works no better or worse the. A standard tray with no lid

I bought two of these because I'm in a wheelchair, and when I tried to put regular ice cube trays in the freezer, I'd always end up spilling some of the water. With this tray, you just open the door on the top, fill the tray, and close the top up. Simple!

it's plastic... and that plastic doesn't handle freeze well so it broke very fast. I went for stainless steel since.[...]

I bought several of these to use in our RV. The freezer space is small and placed fairly high, so I was always spilling water from trays between the sink and freezer and into the freezer. I thought this was the perfect solution.

It's not.

The lids don't snap on, as I expected they would, so are really only useful to set one tray on top of another. I'm not sure what the flip top opening is for, since the entire lid just slips off so easily.

If you are looking for a way to prevent spilling ice cube trays, this is not the product.

My husband hates old ice. This product works great. Fill it up and stick it in the freezer. The ice cubes are protected so no more worrying about old ice cubes!

Excellent! I used to have ice cube trays that were enclosed with a hole at one end and a screw-on lid. They made smaller cubes which I liked, but they were a hassle to fill, and to empty if more water was put in that needed, as the cubes stuck together and wouldn't come out through the hole. These are just perfect - cubes remove more easily than I would have thought - I hardly need to twist the tray at all. They stack nicely too! I haven't had any problems with the lid cracking.
