4.0 out of 5 stars Very Useful
I bought 2 sets then ordered 2 more, not only can they be used to make awsome english muffins, I use them to cook eggs in for breakfast sandwhiches as well as biscuts for sausage gravy. Just becareful when washing you can pull them apart. Joining of the ring needs to be stronger.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy these!
In this case, you get what you pay for. These are made of an ultra-cheap metal that turns orange almost as soon as it touches water. I would return them if it would be worth the shipping, but it's not. Don't waste your time on these--spring for a better-quality product!

The muffin rings are exactly as advertised - relatively thin metal, made in China, no frills. They work well, provided you use enough spray oil. They are about the right quality for the price.

A set of four for four bucks, that's a deal. They work as advertised. No surprises. Just make sure to spray them with cooking spray before using. You can use them to make hamburger buns, English muffins or even fried eggs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hamburger Bun Rings!, September 24, 2009

I purchased these muffin rings primarily to make gluten free hamburger buns. They work perfectly for that purpose; the rings make buns the ideal size. I just set them on a baking sheet, add the dough, smooth the tops and bake. They released perfectly with a spritz of cooking spray. I recently baked buns with these rings in a Coleman camp oven, and they turned out marvelously. There is no problem with rusting, but I do have to be careful not to let them get bent in the camp box. I am ordering a second set to keep at home, so the first set will stay with the camping stuff (nestled inside the coffee pot to keep them from bending). I really should try gluten free English Muffins sometime soon.

I found these rings to work amazingly better than the 'muffin top pan' for gluten free hamburger buns. There is really no comparison between the two: the rings work and the pan didn't. Plus the rings are compact, easy to store, and extremely lightweight. Get 'em.

I loved the quick service I received when I ordered the English Muffin Rings. I loved the product. I am a Celiac and cannot eat wheat, rye or barley. The rings were great. Now I can have bun for sandwiches. I am so grateful I found this wonderful product. Thanks a million. I will certainly use your service the next time I need something. Keep up the great work. Shirley

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what we needed, May 29, 2009

I needed to be able to make home made gluten free buns. These rings work perfect. Sturdier than I thought they would be based on price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Work very well, July 1, 2009
This review is from: Fox Run Set of Four English Muffin Rings (Kitchen)
I use these rings to make english muffins almost every other day. I cook them on my Presto 'Big Griddle' and we enjoy them for breakfast and with coffee in the afternoon.
I never wash the rings, especially not in the dishwasher, but wipe them clean with a paper towel. If they are properly sprayed, the muffins will fall right out and can be turned over. I am developing a recipe for sweet yeast pastry to be cooked in the rings on the griddle. It saves more energy than turning on the oven.

1.0 out of 5 stars They rusted, September 24, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Fox Run Set of Four English Muffin Rings (Kitchen)
I used them once, hand washed as I was towel drying them they had rust on them. I didn't leave them sit, I washed immediately. There are 2 small circles of metal to join them and that is where they rusted at.
