When I read Foxfire by Leslee Breene I was just blown away by her wonderful characterization, plotting and delightful writing. I fell in love with the heroine and then her hero. Her delightful, upbeat, springy and sometimes humorous look into her characters is absolutely charming and fun to read. No one should pass up this book. Leslee is a master at her craft. I have read many romance stories, but this one truly rates as one of the all time best of its kind. Her historical depictions are true and show a knowledgeable background. Foxfire will take you on an exciting journey that you'll wish would never end.

An engaging read that has a train robbery before we meet the characters. Later I began to wonder if the gal could have been a plant by the thieves, would have made for an even more interesting plot.
They pass themselves off as bro and sis and eventually man and wife. We are treated to their EVERY move thought and deed, including the heavy breathing as their clothes seem to come off at every turn. The term 'womanly parts' is used, hmmm. They hook-up in an unused Pullman car, how convienent. Concludes in Denver, that part is vividly presented. If you enjoy this, check out The Arrangement |
