4.0 out of 5 stars Adequate for the student of pharmacy, November 2, 2006
This review is from: Foye's Principles of Medicinal Chemistry (Hardcover)
Well written and adequate for the student of pharmacy. However for this audience I would recommend Wilson and Gisvold's Textbook of Organic Medicinal and Pharmaceutical chemistry 11th Ed, because the figures and text are more complete providing a clearer more concise and rigorous treatment of the subject.

1.0 out of 5 stars Professors: please don't get this book for your class!, September 30, 2010
It amazes me that a book in its 6th edition would still have so many errors. In chapter 2 alone I found 5 errors. As a student, it makes me wonder how many more errors there are that I am just accepting as fact. It provides sparse case studies, but the answers are not given in the book, and many of the answers are not given online either to the students, and are only available for professors to see. Perhaps wait for the 7th edition to come out, and hope that they iron out the mistakes they made in this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's the recommended book for my program., September 11, 2009
What can I say, this book is great. A terrific resource for the study of Medicinal Chemistry. It's what the faculty recommend using for my Medicinal Chemistry program, and it is often referenced by professors.
