I needed something to cut my braided line, after trying other line cutters I finally stumbled upon this line saber and its the best one I've used. It cuts nice straight edges most of the time and the light actually came in to use multiple times so far.

I brought this cutter to cut braided fishing line and not only dos it not cut Braid it dos not cut mono. The cutter was very disappointing to me and a waist of time and money.

great simple tool for cutting braided line. makes other fingernail clipper cutters look like a beauty shop item, and not a fishing tool. the light is a good idea, i also surf fish, so it does not work well in salt water. bought one for my fishing partner, too. i got tired of him asking to use mine.
