5.0 out of 5 stars Hubby's Happy
Hubby is real happy with this product. It is coated which he liked the best because he said it will not rust over time in the water. It is the right size to catch the bait that he needs. He is happy, I am happy, ladies you can't go wrong. Gentlemen you will like this product and for the price you can't go wrong.

2.0 out of 5 stars Black vs Metal Traps
I'll admit I only used this trap 5 times in the same lake (you could see the fish population) but every time i pulled the trap up I got nothing but soggy bait.

My last time pulling it up, a fellow fisherman noted me dumping all the un-eaten bait back into the water and commented saying that raw-metal traps work better because it VISUALLY attracts the fish...

2 stars (instead of 1) because I didn't test it thoroughly beyond that, but raw-metal traps are what I used when I was a kid and never had problems catching something (even if it was unusable minnows).
