Received this fish landing net quickly and as advertised. I was concerned about the weight but it is very light and appears to be made well. Re-netting may be a problem down the road but at this price, I'd just buy a new one. It has a good feel to it. Having a net with tape measure stenciled in would be good - which it does not have. It's the right size for trout. I like it so far.

I PLACED ORDER @ 4:30PM ON WED. 5/13/09 IT CAME IN ON SAT.5/16/09 VERY FAST AND WITH ENOUGH TIME TO TAKE WIFE TROUT FISHING ON 5/21/09 FOR ANNIVERSARY LOL .THE NET IS MORE THAN I EXPECTED VERY SLICK FINISH ON WOOD ALSO VERY LGHTWEIGHT. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT IT JUST ORDER IT YOU CANT GO WRONG. HOPE THIS HELPS !!!

So far the net has been great. Not the net's fault but i sometimes get a fly snagged on the mesh. I have the net hanging on my back with a magnetic release that works well.

I am a Cheap sportsman...I try and get away with paying as little as possible for anything that I can. I could have bought a net for a few bucks less, but this is a GREAT looking net and is functional and totally worth the few extra bucks! I love it...not sure if it makes me a better fisherman, but I do know that it makes me look like I know what I am doing and I have landed may fish in it and have no complaints!

I got this for my 11yr old son. Everytime we are near water he wants a net to scoop out fish and frogs. We fish and crab too but he just got this and loves it!
