Good grief -- the sky isn't falling!,
By cbrillow "tellin' it as he sees it!" (Trenton, Michigan United States) - See all my reviews With regard to the formaldehyde issue, consider these quotes from the National Cancer Institute: "Formaldehyde is a colorless, flammable, strong-smelling chemical that is used in building materials and to produce many household products. It is used in pressed-wood products, such as particleboard, plywood, and fiberboard; glues and adhesives; permanent-press fabrics; paper product coatings; and certain insulation materials... Formaldehyde also occurs naturally in the environment." Hmmmm... is the reviewer also cowering in fear of these other products, including 'the environment'??? "In 1987, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) classified formaldehyde as a probable human carcinogen under conditions of unusually high or prolonged exposure." I hardly think that a cubic yard of dirt surrounded by 24 linear feet of composite formaldehyde-containing timbers constitutes 'unusually high or prolonged exposure.' I believe in being environmentally-responsible, as in taking care not to pollute, putting trash in proper receptacles and voluntary recycling. But giving a perfectly good product a one-star review based upon environmental extremism or hysteria is flat-out wrong, in my opinion. Also note that the reviewer claims that the alternative garden purchased was 'easier to put together', but that's a dubious claim, considering that the Frame-It-All product was returned. Was it assembled, and then disassembled for return AFTER seeing the Formaldehyde Warning on the box? I doubt it... So how does one objectively review ease-of-assembly without actually assembling it? To sum up: Sheesh!

Still trying to interpret the directions from online video and the single sheet of paper of instructions.,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Frame It All RVG-REC2-RT Urban Raised Garden in Composite Wood Grain Timbers, 4-Foot by 8-Foot by 12-Inch (Lawn & Patio)
After aggressive termites and tree roots infested my wooden raised beds, and having had success with the Forever Raised Bed from Gardeners.com, I thought I would go the more economical route with this raised composite 4x8x12 bed. I have read the instructions multiple times and watched the video about stacking additional levels, but I seem to be missing sufficient stakes to both stack additional levels AND secure the bed to the ground. I also can't figure out if a stacking joint vs. a stacking stake are variations in the evolution of this product but I definitely was not provided any stacking stakes in the product. I can't put it together at this point with just the parts that came in the box and am disappointed that for the 1 sheet of paper and video they do not match what I was given to put this together. Otherwise it seems to be pretty self-explanatory.
