A reader approaching Frame Relay Internetworking with nearly no knowledge of the title subject will appreciate the authors' careful approach to frame relay technology. They assume that readers are familiar with high-level internetworking concepts, but they don't assume (or attempt to provide, to any significant degree) much low-level technical knowledge of the subject. This is a book for managers and decision-makers, intended to establish a base of knowledge from which they can explore options and make choices. A technical person attempting to justify an organizational investment in frame relay would be well-served by highlighting key passages in this book and passing it to a higher-up. --David Wall
Topics covered: Frame relay, service providers, connection alternatives, service level agreements, and network topologies. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
