For me, the only eyeliner is a cake liner. I am a make up artist and have found it so hard to find a reasonably priced cake eyeliner. (ie Clinique wanted $18.00 2 years ago, Chanel is around $75) I got this in the mail yesterday and tried it. It is wonderful and the price is right. It comes with a little brush. I used my longer brush. The consistency is the same as the very expensive liners.

I've used this product for many yrs and loved how easily it glides on and stays on all day. But, they must have changed the formula (or I just received a bad one), now the cake won't absorb the water as it should and makes it almost impossible to get it liquid enough to brush on your eyelids

I've use this eyeliner for years 20+ and just love it easy to put on lasts and isn't costly. I've had problems in the past finding it but not any more.I would get a better brush to use with it.
