Each year when I am in France, I buy a CD to act as a momento of the country I love. I had never heard of Jack Lantier and could never have anticipated the enjoyment I would receive from listening to 10 discs of a 'chance buy' artist. 'Easy listening' describes this collection perfectly-so many variations in mood, tempo, rhythm and orchestral backings. The voice is relaxed and carries the listener into the mood of each song with no effort. Lively, nostalgic I have listened to something every day since I returned to Ireland. This is THE album for anyone who loves France and the french language.
