As my hair is becoming more and more gray and less and less brown, I've known that I'll be needing to make a change in hair accessories. Soon my tortoise bobby slides will need to be replaced by something silvery. I received my silver France Luxe bobby pins today. The silver looks nice ~ much nicer than many typical discount store silver hair pins. I first noticed that these are much harder to pry open than the bobby slides that I am used to. For me, it takes a finger nail to get it started, and more effort than I would like. Hopefully, as I get used to these, I'll get less clumsy with them. These pins hold snugly in my fine hair. They are very lightweight and comfortable to wear. I love the way they contour against my head. These will be nice for "everyday" wear. I use them to pull back the sides of my shoulder length hair. I'm finding it just about impossible to find bobby slides for gray/graying hair, so options are few.
