FRANCE 1st time On CD love this album especially for 3/12 mins of orchestral magic track What Now My Love. best version ever recorded builds & builds to a cresendo . C.Porters What Now My Love also swirls & builds unlike any other version you will hear .there are some wonderful gems on this album there are sound effects on some tracks that some listners may find distracting but for me it adds to the atmosphere creating a feeling of being there the Phase 4 Stereo sound is surperb remastering .RUSSIA this has been released in different formats on CD twice before ,but always a pleasure to have wonderful arrangments,played to perfection by a wonderful orchestra with up to date remastering wow . with albums Spain-Russia -and now France all on CD pure heaven these are all wonderful worth adding to any lover of orchestral music collections, the great STANLEY BLACK he uses orchestra & full chorus the punch of power he delivers is terrific thats why thes recordings still sound as fresh 40 years after they were recorded thank you vocalion for the reissue. Just love it

I had this record when I bought my first stereo in 1965. Over the years the album was lost and to find it again is so exciting. Little did I know that in 2002 I would actually get to go to Paris. How I regretted not having my favorite recorded music of France. To find it again is so exciting. I have never again heard such beautiful orchestrations or stereo sound on another album. What an incredible find to be able to hear this music again.France/Russia
