The Evil Twin!,
By
This review is from: Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley High #100; The Evil Twin (Paperback)
There is a girl who tries to take over Elizabeth's life after seeing her picture. She looks like her. I just want to say that this could happen in real life- well, something like it could happen. There are lots of people who have look-alikes they don't evern know about, who aren't related to them. Have you ever seen those celebrity look-alike contests? Some of those people could pass for twins........or triplets, in this case. Anyway, this book ties up the prom mini-series. I read the first book a few months ago (A NIGHT TO REMEMBER) and I was reading it in the dark and in the car, because it was soooo good. I loved it so much that I bought the whole mini-series at the same time so I could read them all. Ok, GO READ THE PROM MINI-SERIES!!!!!!

If you're looking to get a teen or preteen girl to actually sit down and read a book, try this one!Filled with a murder plot, revenge, love, and, of course, a happy ending for the picture perfect twin stars of the series, it should keep even the most jaded teen girl interested.

One of the chracters Margo who wants to kill Elizabeth and try to become her, well right after you learn who she is what she is all about I garantee that you will hate her and hope that she gets put behind bars for all of the killing and agony that she has put people through. Well I had better stop typing before I end up telling the whole book. In conclusion I would just like to say four more words that describe what I have been tring to say throughout my whole letter JUST READ THE BOOK. Sincerelly, Keshia Jewert Age-11

"The Evil Twin" is the final book in a six-part miniseries.Featuring love, murder, lies, betrayal, and all that good stuff, the whole series is must-read for any Sweet Valley fans, and even for some people (teens) who've never picked up a book before! If you only read one SVH book in your life, this is the one I suggest! It brings the whole series to a chilling climax!

Margo will finally have the perfect life... As Elizabeth Wakefield! She'll have a loving mother and father for once and a twin sister to stay up late and gossip with. Of course Elizabeth is alittle to goody-two-shoes she'll have to give her a new reptation when she's Elizabeth. Can she pull off a few stunts like fooling people closest to Elizabeth before she actually plays the role of Elizabeth forever. It'll be easy fooling Elizabeths mother, twin ,and close boyfriend right? Finally the perfect chance to kill Elizabeth and take her place a party at the fowler mansion. Will she succeed and become THE Elizabeth wakefield?

Three Blondes, One Great Book,
By
This review is from: Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley High #100; The Evil Twin (Paperback)
To any fan of SVH, this book is a classic and *absolute must have*! Even if you choose not to read numbers 95-99, you will relish every thrilling page of The Evil Twin.True, this may not be terror in its truest form, but Margo's heartlessness and almost inhuman nature will surely send a shiver or two down your spine. Another terrific thing about this book is its incredible multi-facetedness. With persepectives from each character's POV, you're sure to have diffilculty deciding whose side is right, and whose side is wrong. The only thing missing is a material thing: the original over with the opening flap. I own one copy with this feature, but wish that they would sell this and its sequel, The Return of the Evil Twin with their original covers again.

When i was younger i was an avid fan of sweet valley. Trying to get to the bookstore every few weeks so that i could find what adventure that teh twins might get into. Yet when i read The evil twin, a long time ago, my love for the twins failed. How many near death experiences can they have before they die? How many Christmases will they have before they finally turn sixteen. The books are just dribble. There are two(beautiful) twin sisters, who get into every scrap and mess that one can think of. If my calculations are right then Jessica and Elizabeth should be in their forties, according to all the Christmas's, new years and halloweens that they have gone through. How many summer adventures can one have. Or how many spring breaks. I really hoped that they would turn seventeen before I stopped reading the series, but they didn't. This was a predicatble story. Rather lame actually. Evil twin stalks Jessica and Elizabeth. Evil twin is very bad. The evil twin ! corners them, but it doesn't work, they prevail. Nothing can happen to the Wakefield twins. Although i know that i would pay quite a lot of money to read a book where one of them finally dies, or they celabrate a birthday. Yet i don't think that i see that coming for a long time.

Elizabeth and Jessica are in mortal danger!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley High #100; The Evil Twin (Paperback)
I can't say I thought this book was as great as everyone makes it out to be. I'm 14 and I was around 12 when I read it and even then I wasn't too impressed. Although you were in suspense some of the time, for most of it I was just wishing they'd get on with it. I didn't read the previous books in the mini - series because I didn't need to. This book told you all that had happened, so it didn't make me want to go out and buy the prequels. Sweet Valley High just isn't what it used to be. Every book is full of gloom and doom, and you can never believe Jessica when she says she's totally, madly and deeply in love with a guy. Her and Sam Woodruff were perfect, but of course Sam died. Now Jessica has a new love in every new mini - series. And Elizabeth is forever two - timing Todd. I'll give this book two stars for effort and some suspense, but I'm being generous. Come back, old Sweet Valley. The new type isn't half as good.
