We got this machine from ILLY.com

When I unpacked it from the box there was some water - I guess they did not empty it completely after testing.

It took as a while to get the machine going as it was making horrible tractor-like noise and vibrating tremendously. The beeper was beeping like crazy and it didn't wanted to take any water from the container. We actually thought it was broken and we were planning to send it back to Illy.
The instructions were not very precise.
Since we just retired our 7-years-old Francis Francis X5 - we were familiar with how those machines are working but still we had problem starting it.
After giving up at least 10 times finally it started taking water from the container and the temperature started rising. I don't know what I did differently than the other 10 times, but it just started working suddenly and it is working great ever since.

Despite the scare we are very happy with coffee quality however we don't like Illy brand coffee. We get the E.S.E. coffee from our local Italian Deli that is much creamier than Illy. They have several different brands of E.S.E. coffee imported from Italy.
