Hmm... Amazing shoes, BUT...???,
This review is from: Franco Sarto Women's Amenity Pump (Apparel)
I had wanted these shoes for a LONG time (lusting after them on zappos, mostly), so when I found them here for such a GREAT price, I had to purchase. No complaints on service or ordering.
My main issue what deciding what color to get -- I thought the red really popped in an elegant way and was super attractive, which is unusual for me because I'm a little nervous about red shoes in general. Because of size availability, I ended up getting the sand colorway, and was quite excited about my choice. I felt the color was neutral enough to be extremely versatile, but the strips of metallic piping added flair and femininity. Out of the box the shoes were a dream. The suede is softer than any other shoes I've felt or own (and I have some beautiful shoes!!) -- it's truly amazing. The heel has an interesting and modern shape -- sort of triangular or angled, but gently, and in a way that is better felt than seen. And, practically, as a member of a shoe collection, this shoe could really be a long-time friend :) Here's the problem: I have very fair skin, and it is rare that a beige or "nude" color complements my skin tone. So I'm on the fence about these shoes, because I'm in love with them, but I'm not sure the color works against my bare legs. Now, I really don't want to offend anyone reading this, but I have to give my honest opinion about ONE LAST THING: I'm pretty convinced that any darker-skinned woman would look TOTALLY FABULOUS in these shoes (this color (sand)); so if you're black or brown or olive or purple or green or anything in between (!) DEFINITELY try these out!!! Against your skin color, I think they'll absolutely pop, and the bronze and gold metallic will only accent your skin further, making it just glow. But that's just my opinion... :)

True to size but if you have wide feet it is a little snug. Hopefully they will stretch out.
Update: Shoe is not very comfy, it is narrow and did not stretch.

I got these shoes in black for $14.xx. Given that price and how attractive I think these shoes are, I am in retail heaven:) They are quite comfortable for an entire day at the office, true to size and look really great.

Shoes are so pretty.
Suede is soft and the heels are steady too. However, the shoe size is bigger than normal size. So even with the right size, the heels come off when I walk. So order 1/2 size down. |
