These racks make a surprisingly good hostess gift, or "stocking stuffer" or Yankee Swap gift. I spent an afternoon once trying to find one of these and sometimes, they can be elusive in big box stores. If you are stuck for a gift for someone, this is a very good choice if they are an enthusiastic baker or if they have school-aged kids. Cupcakes are just as popular with moms and dads as chocolate chip cookies, and this is a great way to present them for parties or just to put them on the counter.
There is enough room to stack the cupcakes while keeping the icing tops from bumping into each other. Best of all, after the cupcakes are gone, this can fit flat on the side of a cabinet or in a drawer where it won't take up space.
For me, this is worth the money, assembles in ten minutes or less, it's sturdy and dependable. I'm still munching the test batch.
The cupcake tree is strong enough, but still a little on the flimsy side. I didn't use the enclose tiny wrench to tighten the screw stems, just hand tightening seems to hold it fine. My only problem is that I threw the box it came it away and now I don't have a good way of safely storing the cupcake tree when not using it. I guess I'll figure something out - maybe a big plastic bag because I don't want to lose any parts. I like this product and look forward to using it more often.
Each level is high enough above the previous level so the frostings don't mash. The product is made in China - but if you keep the cupcake baking papers on, there should be no problem.
I think this is the perfect gift for the people who love to bake and share. It is especially a great holiday piece because if you frost in green and red it kind of resembles a Christmas tree. It weighs less than a pound, so no worries if you have trouble lifting.
Remember as you assemble it that each cupcake holding receptacle is angled so you can best show off each and every piece of art! :-)
When I received the box in the mail and felt how light it was – I got a little scared. It felt – and with the clang clanging of the metal, sounded, really cheap. When I opened it I was pleasantly surprised by the finish and the look. It didn’t look cheap, just classic and fun. It has the sort of style that could quietly compliment anyone’s dessert table or kitchen décor – while letting the dessert be the star.
It was very easy to assemble. I didn’t even have to use the ridiculously cute and extremely unnecessary teeny tiny little wrench they provided. I just simply twisted the pieces together – voila!
A little note to the brain(s) behind this design… Why on earth would you design a cupcake stand that holds only 23 normal sized cupcakes when most recipes are for 24? I guess that one cupcake is supposed to be left alone, segregated from its confectionary pals? Or perhaps eaten by the hardworking baker - or her overeager hubby? Anyhow, things like this make me nutty. Please stop.
The cupcakes, especially the very tippy top one, seem to perch precariously on display. You can bend, gently, each separate swirl to protect and show off you cakes, and those seem to be somewhat sturdy. But that top one, by goddess that top one, I found myself holding my breath every time someone walked past the table afraid the slightest bump or breeze would send it crashing 4 stories to its crumbled end. Luckily everyone I know already knows how to tread carefully around me, so it made it until its rightful end in the mouth of a hungry child.
I think any baker would love one of these, it’s definitely a nice product at a great value!

I bought these for my 1 year old and they fit a tad bit big. These socks also stretch easily because my son takes them off all the time but they go back to size after I wash them. Read morePublished 1 month ago by JAMS
For the price this is a really good stand. It's nothing fancy, and it's kind of flimsy so I don't know how durable it will end up being. Read morePublished 2 months ago by t_ochoa
