I didn't know what to think of this film, I didn't know what to expect. Anyway, it has a great story and great actors. It also includes the *band* Hanson. I thought Hanson were finished in music until they returned in the film performing a new song called "Get Up And Go" from their forthcoming album, and I must say, Hanson are better than I thought.

I think people that did not like this movie does not have a sense of humor. Yes, this movie Is "outlandish", but one of the funniest I've ever seen. If you like "Zoolander", "There's something about Mary", "Austin Powers" or "Dumb and dumber", than this movie is definitely for you. If you find these movies stupid - skip this title.

Yes the movie is extremely silly and outlandish...but that's the point. I thought this movie was hilarious and laughed out loud many times watching it. It is definately not everyone's cup of tea as one must possess a sense of humor to appreciate comedy. Dave Sheridan was awesome as Doofy in Scary Movie, and he's great in this too. Frank McKlusky C.I. is basically a coming of age story about a man who leads a freakishly sheltered life. His partner (he's an insurance claims adjuster) is murdered and the cops think it's suicide. It's up to Frank to get to the bottom of the case, and in doing so he changes his life for the better. Co-stars include Dolly Parton, and Andy Richter, with cameos by many notable stars. The movie has a bit of Cabin Boy flavor. Definately one for the collection.

I believe that this was a great movie that people can enjoy and lift your spirits. Andy Richter was great and Dolly Parton was beautiful and Dave Sheridan was perfect. It kept me laughing all through the movie and I recommend it to all comedy fans especially Ferrally Bros. fans.

Very, very funny movie....Watched it several times. Enjoyed it everytime....Highly recommend it if you're looking for a few good laughs...

I first saw this movie when I got it from Netflix.I could not find this movie in stores anymore.Tower Records used to have it but I wasn't going to pay $20+ for a DVD.There's no Tower Records anymore so this movie is even harder to find in stores.Look for it on TV you say?Forget about it!Netflix was the way to go to see this movie.And Amazon's the way to go to buy it[and I didn't have to pay $20+ either;I paid way less].I saw this movie because I heard that Joanie Laurer aka Chyna was in it.[I have 2 other reviews regarding her videos,Chyna Fitness and Come Get Some The Women of the WWF.Go read 'em.]No,her acting didn't suck in this movie.She plays an office worker who dresses like the flavor-of-the-day celeb.This movie has a couple of celebs actually like George Lopez,Adam Carolla,Tracy Morgan,Dolly Parton,Andy Richter,Scott Baio and more.It's a star studded cast in a movie that hardly anyone gave a s#!+ about when this movie first came out.Anyway,celebrities are not the main reason that I wanted to see this movie.I wanted to see it because Chyna was in it.[You can take that last line anyway you want to take it as long as your reading this review and not getting bored by now].It's an entertaining and funny movie.It should be it's a comedy.An overly cautious insurance claims investigator[Dave Sheridan] who grew up with a daredevil-turned-vegetable dad[Randy Quaid] and a consequently overprotective mom[Dolly Parton] tries to take down 2 crooked attorneys and a big insurance scam.

It's probably not worth a trip to the video store, but catching this movie randomly on tv with no expectations I was pretty impressed. It's a solid second-string quirky/crude comedy, successfully blending a bunch of sketch comedy type ideas into a semi-coherent story. It's no Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, but it's better than Corky Romano. If a 40ish year old man in a wheelchair on stage at a Hanson concert trying to dance and yelling "Hanson rock" isn't your idea of funny then maybe give it a miss. 7/10.

I love this movie, and I bought this as a birthday present for my son. He loved it too. This is one of the funniest movies around and everytime I see it I find something new to laugh at. A true classic!

this movie is really fun if you have nothing to do and have a broad sense of humour. dolly parton looks really pretty, but then she always does.

This movie is quite possible the corniest slapstick comedy I have ever seen, but what makes it worthy of 5 stars is the inclusion of the legendary Dolly Parton. Dolly is simply stunning in her role in this film which is definately too brief.
