Great adaption of the Classic Novel for Children and Collectors.,
By
This review is from: Frankenstein (Great Illustrated Classics (Abdo)) (Library Binding)
I picked up this copy of the classic novel when I was only a child and enjoyed it immensely. What amazed me was how it actually DID tell the entire story as Shelly wrote it, without eliminating any details. This was always a fine series for kids and the artwork was always good as well, this one being a standout. The Monster within does actually resemble the text rather than something Karloffian,as is usually the case and even the gruesome moments are captured quite well. That cover is a beaut, depicting one of the few takes on Christopher Lee's Monster from Hammer's "Curse of Frankenstein"(1957) and it's pretty cool. The only problem with this book is Amazon's terrible price for it. Most retailers sell it for five dollars or under and i've seen it(and it's Paperback counterpart) in several Dollar and Bargain stores. This book is a great addition to any Horror fan's Frankenstein collection and for kids interested in the story.

I love this story! It is full of suspense, depressing moments and scary moments! The ending was very deeply sad! The only think I would change would be the killing too much of it,though it was still cool like that. Well I think this is a great sotry from ages 7-12 please read this story great story for the kids!

Frankenstein,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Frankenstein (Great Illustrated Classics (Abdo)) (Library Binding)
I read the book called Frankenstein. I really liked this book because it was full of action and suspence. The only thing I would change is all the deaths and the people dying in the book. It is so fasinating how Victor Frankenstein, the creator of Frankenstein, dug up dead bodies and put them together piece by piece to create a human. The other weird thing is that he was afraid of his own creation. Everybody was scared of the monster so the monster decided to kill everybody Victor loved. I don't want to tell you the rest so you have to read the book.
