5.0 out of 5 stars The Most Comprehensive Book On This Subject: Highly Recommended!, January 7, 2010

This review is from: The Frankenstein Legend: A Tribute to Mary Shelley and Boris Karloff, (Hardcover)
I've been something of a Frankenstein-ophile since the age of five when I saw Boris Karloff play "The Creature", (his own, fond term for Frankenstein's Monster), in the 1931 classic "Frankenstein".

A relative of Boris Karloff whom I consider a dear friend, said that they'd "never seen the book, only heard about it." Thus, I bought this book purely by gamble, and hit the jackpot. Whether Boris played the role or not, everyone who ever did, on film or TV, is discussed at some length, with full detail as to dates, studio, etc.
Certainly Boris' performances--complete with rare photos--are the main focus of the book, and are dealt with so thoroughly that even Boris' relatives were impressed with it when I showed them the book at last.

If you're a fan of Boris', or just the genre, buy this book whilst you're still able. I reccomend it most highly!
