At the time I bought this it was the only Frank Stallone CD I could find and it was worth every dollar. I was introduced to Frank Stallone by a friend in 1988, I was given a cassette (yes there was a time when CDs didn't exist) with the comment you won't believe who this guy is but if you can get past his brother you will surprised and will really like this and so I was and so I did. It is obvious where all the real talent in the Stallone family lies. This CD swings and Frank has got just the right voice and these are just the right arrangements of some classics. A seriously under-rated musician who is worth a listen.

If you're a fan a great jazz standards , this a CD not to miss!! great singing by swingin' Frank Stallone and high class arrangements by the ever great Billy May. Great listening from the first to the last track! This is one of his best Cd's. If you're a fan of Stallone Or "frankie blue eyes" don't miss it. This contains exacly the same titles and has been issued as "Close you're eyes" in 1992 but seems to have been remastered in 2002.

A pleasant surprise! The Billy May arrangements are great and Mr. Stalone sings these songs with ease and a real Swinging Style. His voice is a lot better than you might expect and seems to be having a lot of fun with this. My only regret is that the songs and the album are too short. Before you take a chance on another "swing" album, try this one out first.
