This works just like any standard polyvinyl acetate (PVA) wood glue. The difference is in the viscosity of the glue. This is thick enough to stay on an edge. It allows you to use the amount of glue you really want, without having to worry about it dripping before you spread it out. While I don't use it as much as my Titebond II or III, it is nice to have a small bottle around for certain tasks.
