Excellent biography and valuable reference
This biography is easy to read but provides plenty of in-depth details that would please even those who find themselves "well-versed" in the life of FDR. This book would be a great contribution to any library shelf. Definitely a must read for even the non-historian looking to gleen a better understanding of FDR and his contribution to American history.

Costs Too Much for Kindle Book
This outrageous price must be the result of the MacMillan deal. Considering Jean Edward Smith's masterful FDR is still at the more reasonable price of $9.99 I don't think there's much question which book I'll be choosing.

Jeff Coker's addition to the Greenwood series is a solid contribution that students should benefit from greatly. While there are many other FDR biographies out there, this one is a particularly succinct and well-conceived one volume work.
