I purchased 5 of these for our school's PE department. I am very disappointed with the design. Franklin has added some new technology at the end of the tee....some squiggly rubber strands which are supposed to support the ball. My tees arrived and all of the strands were compressed to the point where they won't support a ball at all. My only option is to insert the tubing upside down and set the ball on the other end which is just a straight cut rubber tube. Very difficult for young children to stabilize the ball on this surface. Wish I had purchased ANY other style.

Very sturdy tee. The only thing is that the way the top of the tee is designed it is a little hard to keep the baseball on it. You have to have patience as it takes skill and a little luck to place the ball.

Franklin Sports 2774 MLB Heavy Duty Professional Batting Tee is not a good product. After 2 days of use the home plate (base of the tee) began to brake apart. I would like Amazon to stand by the product that they sell and replace it with a new one. If you need a picture please let me know.

Bought one of these for my teams practices, was broken within a few weeks. The squiggley top design is supposed to hold the ball and be less likely to break than other tee's but like another reviewer said they come all bent out of shape and it's very difficult to get them straight enough to actually hold the ball. Even after you do manage to get them straight the ball doesn't sit well, falls off too easily. The rubber below that top cracked pretty easily also. Like that other user I ended up flipping this over to hold the ball. After a time, under ordinary circumstances, some rubber inside apparently got too warm and soft and the inside tube got stuck to the outside tube and I was completely unable to get it out. I ended up cutting it out and just using a knife to form my own top to hold the ball. Works decent now but even still the plate itself got a bit warped and the main tube is slightly bent too so it's tough to get a nice, straight tee to hit off of. This one is total junk, keep on looking.

Was looking around for a Batting Tee for my boys and ended up getting this one. It is very solid thick rubber. I've had it now for a few years and it has been through Minnesotas toughest seasons and still works like new. Great buy!
