I purchased this hopping ball for my 3 year old granddaughter and she loves it. Her friends have enjoyed it just as much as she has. It has really brought back memories for when i was a little girl. I would suggest that anyone that have young children that are interested in purchasing this product would be well worth it. Thanks again. cathy

I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old son who loves to jump. When I received it I was impressed with the way it was made. It's very sturdy and thick so any fears of popping or tearing were quickly taken away. However, I expected it to be bigger than it is. It is very small. In it's defense, my son is a large child. He's often mistaken for a 4 or even 5 year old. He's tall. Having said that, this item is fine for now, but it is too small for him. I'll be purchasing another, perhaps the 18" size to see how we do. I believe the product description for this item says this is for 3-6 years old. I would be hard pressed to imagine any 4,5, or 6 year old using this item. If you're on the fence regarding size, go for the 18". I guess a good visual for this item would be that it's really no bigger than a beach ball. If that will work for your child, get this one. If not, go a size or 2 bigger. Hope this helps.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. We promptly took it out of the package and blew it up. While my son was bouncing on it, air was leaking from the area where the plug is and it quickly went flat. We tried a number of options but no matter what we did, we could not seem to keep air from leaking out. The plug just could not seem to keep the air where it should be. By Christmas night the ball was put in my son's closet while we try to find a way to keep the air in. I (along with my son) were pretty disappointed in this product.

This bouncing ball is very nice to play and inflates to a good size for a 5-6 yr old kid. Perhaps kids up to ~50" tall can play comfortably with this ball when inflated to full capacity. It didn't take too long with a portable 12v compressor. However, the ball does not retain the air for long time. We need to inflate it almost every time you want to play with it.

My daughter loves this. She is still too little to bounce by herself, but will grow into it. It is sturdy and should last for a while if kept away from sharp objects.
