The first one we had broke putting it together. They replaced it, but the second one broke within a week. Not at all impressed and my son was very disappointed.

On the box it describes that no tools are required and that it was easy to assemble. My main problem was that a tool should come with it inorder to stretch the net to the hooks. My 3 of my fingers got cut so badly they were bleeding and the rest of my hand got rope burn. This is all from stretching the net to reach the hooks. I know that the net needs to be tight but there has to be an easier and less painful way.

Our Franklin net broke in multiple places on the very first day. The netting itself snapped in less than 20 pitches. You'd think my son was Nolan Ryan. He throws, at best, 40 miles an hour. We returned the set and was given a new one, and that lasted about a month before its netting also snapped. I contacted the company, but they wouldn't return my emails. Absolutely appalling. Buy any other net system, but do not buy Franklin.

Great, but does not hold up well outdoors.,

Its great while it lasts, but, Unless you want to drag it in and out everytime you use it, dont expect it to last more than a few months. The sun/elements seem to rot out the rubber that holds the netting taught. This started within the first month we had it and has continued until now, most of the net is so loose, it is useless. Also, I have to agree with the other reviewer on the assembly, OUCH! Its really painful to put this together, the last few hooks are extremely hard to stretch. We need to purchase a new one but I am not sure if the rubber problem is exclusive to this brand, or if it will happen on others as well. This one is the least expensive Ive seen, so perhaps thats the problem.

The rubber 'springs' break easily and begin to crack after a few weeks outside. Some even broke during the first few uses (with a regular baseball thrown by a 10 y/o). The adjustable tighteners we got with the unit didn't hold their position and we fixed it with some old tighteners from another unit we had just thrown out. Don't expect this to last more than a season of practice, if that. Dissappointing!

The instructions could of been better on the hooks and the net but you could figure it out. You had to take the target out that they gave you because if you hit it it would slow the ball down. Then you just put ribbon on the outline of the other target. Otherwise I it is holding up great so far!

We just bought this item and after getting most of it set up we realized that one of the most important bars was missing from the box. After reading the other reviews I think we will just get our money back and look for another option.

I had researched return trainers and came to the conclusion all had good points and all had bad points. I liked this one because it fit my budget and offered multiple angles to select. In the end, it just didn't work out and is going back.My first problem was assembly. The instructions (from a long standing company) are horrible. Just a shred more effort on their part could have really made assembly easier but no, that is not the case. Next, one of the side poles broke as we were trying to string the net on. As soon as I heard it, I knew it was broke. I was just a crack and I thought I would just order a replacement and it would be OK. That was one of the selling points. You can order replacement parts. Now I know why. But that was where my last hope faded. The "infinite" adjustment is worthless. I could not get one side to stay locked at any level no matter how hard I tried. I bought this for my daughter to practice on and she is only 7 so you know she's not exactly launching the ball at this thing. She must have asked 10 times for me to fix it after the one side kept dropping down. Then, after trying to tighten the plastic coupling for one last try, it broke. Oh well, back it goes. Would up spending about $20.00 more for a solid steel trainer that is working much better. Save your money here and keep looking.

One of the parts was missing from the box. Hard to get a replacement for it. Haven't used it yet. Was shipped quickly by vendor.
