This glove is nice. It's way better than most of the plastic garbage gloves that are sold for youths. The ball that comes with it is very heavy though, a little too heavy for my 3 year old, but I also bought the foam baseballs from Amazon that are lighter for him. The glove can bend easy, he can open and close it somewhat with his hand even though it is a little too big for him. We left it out in the rain for a day and it dried out nicely. It's definitely worth the money and will outlast any of those cartoony plastic gloves.

I was a little worried this would have been cheap and plastic, but turns out it is pretty good. Bought this for my 4yr old and fist great. The ball included is also great seeing it doesnt hurt like a real BB when he mises the catch. Overall not bad at all for the money, and not cheap quality like I expected.

The glove size is perfect for little hands but the ball busted at the seams after only a week! Our son is only 21 months so it's not like he was overly rough on it.

My pre-schooler son loves this mitt, but he loves anything baseball and he doesn't have anything to compare it to. After just a couple of months, it developed a big tear in tear in the inner liner. We'll see how well my electrical tape fix works...

As far as it's function, it is a bit stiff, and it doesn't break in like leather would. For someone who is learning to catch, being stiff is a real problem. It would be much better if it were made from softer and less stiff materials, as it really doesn't need to protect the hand from hard throws with a real baseball.

From the description, and place in Franklin's line-up, I thought it would be suitably smaller than the Franklin 9.5" Baseball Glove with Soft-Strike Baseball (have one of those for his older sister), but it turned to be almost identical in size. The quality of materials in those 9.5s are higher, and the prices are about the same, so I'd go with one of them instead (they are also too stiff, however).

When I ordered this it said for ages 5-18. It is definitely only big enough for a 5 year old.

My 4 year old litle guy just started playing T-Ball, this glove was the second one we tried. This glove was flexible enough for his little hands and looked cool enough for his taste. I would definitely recommend it for a first-timers glove.

Bought this a bit prematurely for my at the time 2 year old... He's 3 now and it still doesn't really fit his hand, and he has long fingers!
I will say that I have put it on and was surprise at how "worn in" it feels already, which is a problem with small leather gloves. I can totally envision my boy using this and not having that frustration. The ball is nice too, firm but not solid, so it'll bounce off windows... trust me we have spontaneously tested it!
