When his best friend, Bear, loses a tooth and gets a visit from the Tooth Fairy, Franklin is disappointed to learn that as a toothless turtle he is not eligible for the gift or the milestone of growing up shared by the rest of his friends. After he attempts to fool the Tooth Fairy with a pebble, his wise mother takes him for a reassuring doctor checkup. In "Hurry Up, Franklin," the second 11-minute episode from Nickelodeon's animated TV series, slowpoke Franklin is off to Bear's birthday party. Episode One - Franklin and the Tooth Fairy

It's a big shock to Franklin when he discovers he's not like his friends. They're all losing their baby teeth, indicating that they're growing up. Since turtles don't have teeth, Franklin conspires to get a present from the Tooth Fairy by leaving a tiny pebble as a turtle tooth.

Episode Two - Hurry Up, Franklin

Turtles are slow, but Franklin's penchant for constantly stopping to smell the roses makes him slow even for a turtle. But when it comes to his best friend Bear's surprise birthday party, Franklin is determined to be on time. However, he discovers too late that once again he's allowed his preoccupation with the little things to sidetrack him.
