Frantic Times did wonders for my weight. After listening to this CD, I discovered that I had laughed my ass completely off! While this will most likely bring about other problems in the future, I am currently wearing pants that I normally would be unable to zip up. Thank you Frantics!

But seriously, this is some of the most clever and joyously wacky sketch comedy that I've heard. I recently checked out their website at it seems the group has reformed and is doing live shows every month in Canada. Awesome! There is also some cool information on Frantic TImes at deepshag.com.

Do yourself a favour and check this CD out - very funny!

I got hooked on these guys from Dr. Demento in the 80's. This is the only one of their discs that I managed to pick up and I really enjoyed it... THEN MY GIRLFRIEND STOLE IT!

So now I'm waiting and waiting for Amazon to send me a new copy. When they say that it takes them 3-5 weeks to get something, they mean it!!

It's worth the wait. The Frantics have a blunt humor that hits you like a boot to the head.

While you're clicking around, you should check out a Canadian comedy group called Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie. Their albums aren't available on Amazon, but trust me: if you like The Frantics you'll really enjoy the Dead Trolls.

i first heard last will and tempermant on a dr demento album and thought is that the same comedy group that did tai kwan leap boot to the head when i heard them say boot to the head. sure enough it was. years later when i finally found their two comedy albums i ignored the warnings some of the reviewers had posted on this one because those two routines and one other one i had heard courtesy of dr demento i had been wanting to hear more. thank amazon.

Extremely funny Canadian skit comedy fom the '70's.
Much of this has been heard on Dr. Demento.
HIGHLY recommended, esp.for those fans of Firesign
Theatre, although this is a bit more in-your-face
than FT.

The "missing" songs are jokes. Check out the times listed for tracks 25 - 38 and you'll see what I mean. Here at Deep Shag, we believe it's a sinister Canadian plot to confuse everyone! Thanks for buying Frantic Times.

I bought this CD from Amazon almost a year and a half ago. 38 tracks of which 14 were 5 seconds of blank space.

I assumed it was a problem with my player until I loaned it to a friend and they had the same issue. Sad really, I plan on buying it again at some point.

The Frantics are hilarious.

I got two of these cds and both had a blank space where the end of the cd should be. Otherwise,the early part was great!
