One of the best music DVDs ever made!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Linkin Park - Frat Party at the Pankake Festival (DVD)
"Linkin Park: Frat Party at the Pankake Festival" is a rock music lover's dream DVD. This DVD has so much stuff on it that it will take repeated viewings to take it all in. The features include: A Making of the "In The End" music video (one of the funniest making of's I have ever seen), some of the art that Mike and Joe drew for movies (Joe drew something for the flop Sphere), a look at Chester's tattoos , weblink, a section that allows you to hear some unreleased material from LP like a bluegrass country version of "Crawling" (a pretty funny sounding remake), High Voltage Remix, and the sad and sorrowful My December. The main part of this DVD is the movie "Frat Party at the Pankake Festival", a very funny look at life on tour with Linkin Park. The movie features the music videos for "Papercut", "One Step Closer", "Crawling", "Crawling" Live with multi-angles, "Points of Authority" Live, and the newly released "In The End" video. The band seems like some pretty cool guys that like to joke around while making their music. Chester, Joe and Mike are the most funniest musicians ever. Buy this movie and you sure won't regret it. There is no strong graphic language, but some pretty crude stuff. If you are not a Linkin Park fan then don't (I repeat) don't buy this DVD. Another great thing is that the movie is presented in a 1.85:1 widescreen presentation. The sad thing is there is no 5.1 soundtrack only a good sounding Dolby 2.0 soundtrack, but still worth it. Just buy the DVD and hit the helpful button below.

This review is from: Linkin Park - Frat Party at the Pankake Festival (DVD)
This (as I'm sure you know) is Linkin Park's first DVD, the official one. It conntains all the basic info on the band (how they got started, where they came from, etc.), a lot of live shots (live at Ozzfest 2001, which is pretty funny, a bonus "multiple angle" Dragon Festival concert), and a lot of other cool stuff, such as:1.Touring Information 2.RoB Bourdon's tour of their bus 3."One Step Closer" video 4."In the End" video 5."Papercut" video 6."Crawling" video 7."Points of Authority" video Anyway, I suggest you get this even if you like Linkin Park a sllllight little bit, because it is very entertaining.

Linkin Park is THE BEST band...ever. So why the [heck] not release a DVD? Apparently that is what they thought and, alas, Frat Party at the Pancake Festival was made. It features the European music videos foe "Points of Authority", & "Papercut" (the one you might have seen on the Family Values 2001 MTV special) and the American videos for t"One Step Closer", "Crawling", and "In the End". Other stuff features them screwing around at Ozzfest '01, touring, and interviews. DVD only features are Chester's tattoes, Mike & Joe's art, "My December" and "High Voltage" songs, and other stuff. Overall, this is a very, very entertaing DVD and is worth the money...

Killer DVD!,

This review is from: Linkin Park-Frat Party at the Pankake Festival (DVD)
This DVD has it all. It has all of their videos from Hybrid Theory, concert footage, backstage footage and even them recording on the tour bus for Meteora. The videos include: Papercut, Points Of Authority (Live), Crawling, Crawling (Live - with multi-angles), One Step Closer and In The End. It even has a few easter eggs that you can find on Linkin Park's website. It also comes with special features such as the making of the In The End video, three audio tracks (My December, High Voltage and Crawling redone by some bluegrass artists) and even a section on Chester Bennington's tattoos. This is well worth your money if you're a Linkin Park fan.

LINKIN PARK IS ONE OF THE BEST NEW BANDS I'VE HEARD LATELY AND THIS DVD CAPTURES THEM IN ALL OF THEIR GREATEST MOMENTS! THIS DVD HAS EVERYTHING: MUSIC VIDEOS, LIVE PERFORMANCES, ENDLESS INTERVIEWS, SPECIAL FEATURES, AND A WHOLE MESS OF OTHER STUFF. IT EVEN INCLUDES 3 UNRELEASED SONGS: HIGH VOLTAGE (HIP HOP), MY DECEMBER (MELLOW), AND A HILARIOUS COUNTRY VERSION OF CRAWLING. THIS IS MY SECOND FAVORITE DVD (MY FIRST CHOICE IS BLINK 182'S URETHRA CHRONICLES) AND I WILL DEFINITELY WATCH IT AGAIN MANY TIMES IN THE FUTURE! BUY THIS DVD!!!

The DVD is awesome! It includes all the videos, and live stuff too. It is very funny and it's just following the guys around while they're on tour. You see their bus, their fans, people who are touring with them, what they do in their spare time, and you get to see them being just plain silly. You'll like it if you're a big LP fan.

Linkin Park-Frat Party at the Pancake Festival Review,

Linkin Park's "Hybrid Theory" was the best-selling album of 2001, and now they have a cool VHS/DVD, too. I shall review the DVD.This DVD features the "One Step Closer", "Points of Authority", "Papercut", "In the End", and "Crawling" videos, live footage of them at the Ozzfest 2001, interviews, touring information, and a lot more. The bonus features include Mike & Joe's artwork, where it shows you the original Hybrid Theory EP cover (drawn by both), Marilyn Manson as a school teacher (drawn by Mike), and a lot else. It also includes a tour of Chester's Tattoes (which is pretty funny), audio only "My December" (which is a slow, "funky" song), an High Voltage (which is pretty much a pure rap song), and a lot else. You should buy this even if you don't love Linkin Park, because it's pretty damn entertaining.

THE LP DVD (couldn't think of a title),

This review is from: Linkin Park - Frat Party at the Pankake Festival (DVD)
I got Frat Party at the Pancake Festival because everyone said that there was hella music videos, interviews, footage, and that they were funny. The only thing i did not agree with was LP being funny....they were trying to be funny. But all in all, this a great DVD. You see what Linkin Park is really like and you get to know the band members really well. There is concert footage but its in the form of music videos. The DVD definately will not bore you because LP acts goofy in it all the time. The music videos included are: In the End, Crawling, One Step Closer, Papercut, Points of Authority (concert footage), and Crawling (concert footage). You can also get director commentary on each of the videos if you choose to do so in the options. That is where the director and band members talk about the video, during the video. The Special Features also include Mike and Joes' art, Crawling (bluegrass version), CHester's tattoos, making of In The End video, songs: my december and high voltage remix...both very good songs that should be on their Hybrid Theory album!...

the linkin park dvd was WELL worth my money. i'm glad i bought it b/c i had never seen videos for "papercut" and a lot of the audio only songs ("high voltage" & "my december") i had heard on the internet. the guys in the band are hilarious.i loved when mr. hahn asked a girl to flash them during a concert and mike made fun of a guy jogging in place in paris. the music is great and the making of features are interesting, especially for "in the end." i like the 3-angle "crawling" video also. any linkin park fan should rent or buy this for a good 2hrs of entertainment. and you can watch it in front of anyone since there is no cursing but a few suggestive jokes.

Awesome and Hysterically Funny,

Through this DVD, you are offered an inside view of life on tour with Linkin Park. It shows the "Papercut" video which was not released in the United States. It's a great DVD that shows each of the guy's personalities and gives a great view of the funny times and even frustrating times that many bands endure while going on tour. They give in-depth interviews from each of the guys describing their thoughts on their breakthrough album "Hybrid Theory". It's an extremely funny video and shows great side-splitting footage as well as extra footage by using secret codes. It goes from meet and greets to spider bites to just plain times in Europe. Overall I totally enjoyed this DVD and would buy it again if I could. It is so hilarious that you can watch it over and over again and still laugh at the scenes. I recommend that any Linkin Park fan should buy this DVD.
