I had been searching for what seemed like forever to find a nice pair of gloves in this price range. Also, I determined that department stores rarely stock medium and never stock small. First of all, I was very impressed when they arrived in two days with free shipping. The leather is very soft and they do come in a little pouch which I guess is nice if you want to pack them away from Spring - Fall. Also, I have been impressed by how incredibly warm these gloves are considering they are fairly thin compared to a synthetic glove. They fit a little tight across the palm, but the finger length is perfect. I always hate it when the fifth finger of a glove has room for an extra digit and these do not - perfect length. Based on the size chart I picked medium. After wearing them for a week or so they have stretched a little bit which has helped. In the end I would certainly buy them again, but take note, if you're right between sizes be sure to pick the larger of the two.

I've owned a lot of gloves over my lifetime. Grew up with Chicago winters, and have tried just about every manufacturer, style, and quality level of glove there is. That said, I've never found the "perfect pair of gloves," much less one that I wanted to write a review about.

Honestly, I tended to shy away from expensive gloves, because those I had tried, were never that much better, if any better than the middle of the road gloves I would buy every other winter. So when I started shopping this year, was skeptical, but intrigued by the overwhelmingly stellar reviews for this pair. I took a leap of faith and ordered these. And am ECSTATIC that I did.

I've owned them for a couple of months now, have had a mild winter thus far, and held off writing a review until I really got to winter-wear them. Last night, it came, and this morning, I was shoveling and salting in 15 degree, windy weather. While I'd gotten these gloves primarily for style - and they are top-tier... softest lambskin, with an expensive, quality look - I was honestly skeptical once I received them, of whether or not they could actually be warm in super-cold temperatures. I was out for over an hour in pretty nasty conditions this morning, and WOW - I don't know HOW these gloves are so warm, but every other reviewer was right - these gloves are the best!

Great quality, great look, super warm... I'm buying another pair in brown. The best money ever spent on gloves. They came well packaged, very quickly. If you're on the fence, wondering about the price, worry not.

These gloves are the best I've ever had, and will never have to shop for gloves again.

If you live in cold weather and want a pair of excellent driving gloves, these are the perfect choice. They are warm without being bulky, store in your Glove Compartment readily, slip on and off easily, and allow comfortable driving on those frigid days. As you would expect with cashmere lining, they are feel great to wear. I have had many different gloves for use in my car. These are by far the best. -- A Wisconsin winter driver

I had to think twice before spending this kind of money for dress gloves that I would wear only a couple times per season. I was concerned when I read a reveiw that said the gloves run a tad small. I purchased a pair that were size 2x (my size) and they fit great. Best of all they look and feel great and they are warm at 20 degrees. I will have these gloves for many years. If price is your main concern, worry not these gloves are well worth the cost.

Got a pair of these for Christmas. They're nice and dressy, but the cashmere lining is the deal clincher here. Even if it's not cold enough outside to need to wear them, I've still been putting them on as any excuse to wear them is a good one.

There must be someone out there with really weird hands (or maybe mine are and no one will tell me), but everyone I've showed them to agrees that the thumb is outrageously large. They are a full 3/4" to 1" too big in the thumb. The rest of the fingers are fine. Maybe I got a bad pair or somethng.

If you live in San Francisco, where this company sells these gloves, then maybe you could call it a winter glove. In the real world, the thin cashmere lining is not adequate. I wore these "winter" gloves on a 10-degree-F day, and, after a half hour, they failed to keep my fingers warm. The design and workmanship are nice, and I was able to get an XXL size, but these are fair weather gloves. If you live in the upper Midwest or Northern climates, these gloves will look good on you while walking around the mall but you'll probably not find these to be actual cold-weather gloves.

I blame both Amazon and Leathergloves.com for my experience in wretched customer service. Warning -- don't think you can return these if they don't fit.
The gloves themselves appear to be quite nice but after paying to return them, the company has returned them to me-- forcing me to go to the Post Office in the snow to sign and pick them up. Adding Insult to injury. I bought them for my husband for Christmas, but when he put one hand in to try them, it was clear he needed XL vice L. To shorten the story, I returned them to the company but was also upset that I had to pay the return postage (since most other online Christmas returns came with UPS return labels, etc.) We never even cut the two gloves apart, so I carefully I folded the gloves in the nice grey Fratelli Orsini bag to fit them into the small flat rate box. I also asked if they had XL thinking we could just make an exchange but THEY NEVER ANSWERED that request. My error according to the snippy note by the owner of Leathergloves.com said they were not re-saleable because of the fold i the gloves. I decided to turn to Amazon as I'm even an Amazon Prime member. I had a chat with someone for almost 30 minutes and at the end, he gave me the phone number of the company and told me to take it up with them. That's terrific service wouldn't you say. Both the glove company and Amazon flunk for customer service-- and I have a lovely pair of Size L gloves which don't fit my husband.
