This review is from: Fraternizing With The Enemy: A Book on Gender Issues for Men ... And For Women Who Care About Men (Paperback)
This book encompasses so many facets of what is going on today with men, women and our governmental policies that I was amazed at the depth and information provided.
In fact, on first glance the book seems daunting, until I started reading it, and I can't put it down. The information is critical, relevant and engaging. If you are a feminist you won't like this book, but you should read it anyway, as the only way to truly learn is to understand all sides of an issue.
The author of this book took 15 years to write it. We have seen many changes in our govt system in 15 years and not all for the better the author ties these changes together with common sense and puts a needed book on the market.
We actually need more books like this. Books that tie things together instead of buying seven different books and being as lost as when you started reading. Fraternizing with the Enemy helps you determine what you believe in, it helps you think about life and what is being spoon fed to you and it helps you determine where the bad guys are so you can avoid them.
If I had to mark this book down for anything I would say there are a few typos, and that feminism isn't the only enemy our culture has, but it is one of the least understood, and one of the most destructive.
Judges, women, social workers, mediators, and family therapists should all be required to read this book.
