OK...let's hear it: U.S.A.! U.S.A! (think US Olympic Hockey Team - 1980 enthusiasm here!)
George Bush has made the US lose respectability in the world community. We're not likely to make it out of the first round in the World Cup. And...worse of all...the Brits and Aussies are kicking our ass with the great new bands. Where's our Editors, Arctic Monkeys, Wolfmother?!! They're in Baltimore and they're called The Frauds! This is what a great American Rock n' Roll band should be. In the vein of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Replacements, Husker Du, and more contemporary acts like The Strokes, Kings of Leon, My Morning Jacket...the Frauds deliver great songs with a Let's-not-take-ourselves-too-seriously attitude. Great songs, big guitars, passionate vocals. A good story. Highly recommended for fans of good stuff. |
