I gave this to my mom for Christmas, and she cracked up!! It's the perfect gift for the jewelry aficionado. It even comes in the cutest box -- it looks like a "ring" box, and the only thing you see when you open it is the ring-handle. Then you open the bottom compartment, and you find out it's attached to a mug. Hilarious!!

I gave it to my girlfriend as a gag gift - as predicted, it was funny for a minute.
To actually use it is silly though, the material doesn't insulate well against hot coffee so you either have to carry it by pinching the little ring area or suffer burns. I like novelty gifts, but a modicum of functionality would be beneficial.
