not just a joke: serious cookie cutters!,
This review is from: Fred ABC Cookie Cutter (Kitchen)
Apart from being funny, these are really nice quality cookie cutters. They're cast aluminum, instead of being a strip of metal that's bent into the shape. This means they'll resist getting bent out of shape better than the usual standbys. There is no spot where a metal strip had to be joined so you can get a nice, smooth cut all the way around. The edges are smooth and the same on the top and bottom so the cutters can be flipped over and will cut just as well on either side. This is good because it lets you turn the cutter whichever way is best to fit the shapes together while cutting the dough- less time and effort re-rolling the scrap dough. They're safe for kids as they are not sharp.

How the Cookie Crumbles in Real Life,

There really isn't much to say about these cookie cutters except that they work as advertised. The picture says it all: these cookie cutters are used to make gingerbread cookies that appear as if they have already been chewed on.
One poor fellow has lost an arm, another has lost a leg, and the most tragic of all appears to have met the gustatory equivalent of the guillotine. It is up to the baker to apply the decoration, and of course your imagination will determine the degree of morose humor you wish to apply. Suggestions are shown on the packaging if you are not the creative type. Funny cookies, very popular with kids.

These cookie cutters worked perfectly and were easy to clean up after. The only complaint is that unless you cook cookies that do not rise at all, the bite marks are not that clear...they look more like the cookies are just missing limbs/heads, but it can be difficult to see the defined teeth marks on some doughs once baked.
