5.0 out of 5 stars not just a joke: serious cookie cutters!
Apart from being funny, these are really nice quality cookie cutters. They're cast aluminum, instead of being a strip of metal that's bent into the shape. This means they'll resist getting bent out of shape better than the usual standbys. There is no spot where a metal strip had to be joined so you can get a nice, smooth cut all the way around. The edges are smooth...

3.0 out of 5 stars a little disappointed
When I saw these cookie cutters & thought that they were really cool. I used the recipe on the box & wasn't impressed. When the cookies baked, they puffed up & you couldnt really see the bite marks. I think that I have a better recipe for these cookies for the bite marks to show up so I will try again. Unless I find the right recipe, I am disappointed that these...

The edges are smooth and the same on the top and bottom so the cutters can be flipped over and will cut just as well on either side. This is good because it lets you turn the cutter whichever way is best to fit the shapes together while cutting the dough- less time and effort re-rolling the scrap dough. They're safe for kids as they are not sharp.

There really isn't much to say about these cookie cutters except that they work as advertised. The picture says it all: these cookie cutters are used to make gingerbread cookies that appear as if they have already been chewed on.

One poor fellow has lost an arm, another has lost a leg, and the most tragic of all appears to have met the gustatory equivalent of the guillotine. It is up to the baker to apply the decoration, and of course your imagination will determine the degree of morose humor you wish to apply. Suggestions are shown on the packaging if you are not the creative type. Funny cookies, very popular with kids.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good cutters; great shapes., January 26, 2011

These cookie cutters worked perfectly and were easy to clean up after. The only complaint is that unless you cook cookies that do not rise at all, the bite marks are not that clear...they look more like the cookies are just missing limbs/heads, but it can be difficult to see the defined teeth marks on some doughs once baked.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Love these Cookie Cutters!, January 2, 2011
This review is from: Fred ABC Cookie Cutter (Kitchen)
These are very well made, sturdy cookie cutters. Everyone that has seen the cookies has raved about how cute they are! I only wish they were a little bigger. I would definately buy more cutters from this company if they come up with some more clever designs!

A Kid's Review

I got these for my mom for christmas. They shipped very fast and got here a lot quicker than I expected. No problems during shipping and no damage done to the package or the cookie cutters. I am very happy with everything about the shipping, the product itself, etc. I dont really have any complaints. These are so cute I know my mom will love them. Very affordable too. I am under 15 and I was able to afford to get my mom the one gift she asked for along with 2 others (all three gifts I got her were from "Fred") and they all totalled to around 30 bucks. So It was really affordable for me. Overall I am very pleased with the product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute - but small, March 21, 2008
This review is from: Fred ABC Cookie Cutter (Kitchen)
The cookie cutters work great, but they make rather small cookies. It is a bit difficult to decorate them as well as I would like. Everyone LOVES getting ABC (already been chewed-off) gingerbread men.

My nephew loved these cookie cutters! He is the cook in his family & he has a twisted sense of humor! So, these cutters, along with a couple of packages of cookie mix were a perfect gift! =D

These are really sturdy, actually. They are very good metal cookie cutters, not crappy aluminum ones that bend, but really good solid metal ones. Yay!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Awesome Cutters, January 6, 2012

Sturdy and completely adorable.

We ended up using more than one cutter on the same cookie to make them double, triple and quadruple handicapped then baked the parts that were from the use of multiple cutters on the same cookie- Amputee legs, arms and heads along side the torso's.

Just flip the cutters around and you'll get three more different 'patterns' giving you at least six to choose from. EX: Right leg bitten, flip it around and it is now the left. The cutters work the same from either side but aren't sharp at all. Would definitely be fun for kids as well as safe.

Definitely glad I got these and even bought a second set to give to my extended family.

5*s
