Now that my son is FINALLY using this bow for more than target shooting I can give a real evaluation. The looks are great, Real Tree design on every surface, not like the newer models that have hunter orange on the top front of the bow, that distracts your vision. The compass is true, the draw weight is #70lbs, but my son likes that, even though you can cleanly get a deer with #45lb draw weights. This may be too much power for fowl, unless it's long distance, he has only brought down bucks with this so far...
Bottom line, this is an exceptionally well made, beautiful, lethal weapon, that can be adapted with sights, silencers, quivers, whatever you desire or need. Has lasted through rough use and looks and draws like new. Keep your string waxed... The only thing that we disliked was the stock string stop, the string came to rest on the other side after firing, replaced with a different type and all is well. Plan for many seasons of use from this excellent bow.
