This review is from: The Fred Factor: How Fred Thompson May Change The Face Of The '08 Campaign (Paperback)
A nice snap shot view of Fred Thompson, starting with his early child hood, up to the present. I was fascinated by his first movie roll, him self in the movie Marie. Its significant, as its the true story of Thompson defending a Tennesse government offical who was legally hounded by the State Democrat machine under the governor. Thompson faced the machine for an individual, with little in the way of personal or financial gain. To me, it says a lot about the personal qualities of Thompson, that I admire in him.

Ah, the lost art of editing,

The content of this book is good, a quick view of an interesting candidate. I cannot say I disliked the content.
However, the editing is an atrocity. It has to be a little embarrassing for Fred to have this book - which appears to have been written and edited by the same third grader - circulating as a prominent view of his political history. The author is not exactly talented in his style, which is repetitious to the point of ridiculousness. Good stories, good background, but without personal research, this book is pretty useless.

Crucial and Entertaining Information,
This review is from: The Fred Factor: How Fred Thompson May Change The Face Of The '08 Campaign (Paperback)
This book is one you cannot put down. It takes you on the journey of Fred Thompson's life and accomplishments, and even tells about heartbreak and personal losses. It is SUPERBLY written and the photo gallery was amazing. Fred Thompson is a man men would like to be, and women would like to be with.

The Future has Spoken, Millenium Changing Book Ignored,
This review is from: The Fred Factor: How Fred Thompson May Change The Face Of The '08 Campaign (Paperback)
As a time traveler I was quite disappointed that my review from 2007 was deleted as a "joke" and even more disappointed that the Toyota TimeFlay 3000 over-shot 2007 by three years and then caught fire, thus stranding me here having to pointlessly warn you about the how only Fred Thompson could have saved us from the Synthoids. Sadly Mr. Gill's advice and prediction was ignored and most of you will end up being upholstery for high-end Synthoid furniture. It is also sad that time travel is less like "Doctor Who" and more like running into your aunt at an embarrassing section of Walgreens.

Product as described. Shipped quickly. Good book. Wished more people would have read it. Maybe we would have gotten a better president.

Not knowing too much about Fred Thompson's background and voting record, we wanted to understand who he really is and the focus of his agenda for America. We have 4 voters in our immediate household - to a person, after reading this book, the determination was that if the vote was held today, this is the man we would stand behind. We are looking forward to seeing/hearing him in the debates, and to crystalizing whether our initial leanings toward him are truly based in the facts of who this man is in reality. Assuming he is "for real," the dynamics of the entire presidential race could be radically changed! Great read! Highly recommended!

Ol Fred sure changed a lot about the race. Like doing absolutely nothing during the debates and ultimately dropping out before February. Go Fred!
Perhaps the authors should pen their next brilliant and prescient tome on the ever-increasing popularity of Ron Paul. He's catching on, I'm tellin' ya!

This is a wonderful overview of the life and philosophy of a true conservative. Let's hope that in the very near future he declares himself a candidate for the Presidency.

The real Fred Thompson,
This review is from: The Fred Factor: How Fred Thompson May Change The Face Of The '08 Campaign (Paperback)
This book clealry demonstrates what many of us suspect but have yet to see (although once he jumps in the republican race it will come out very quickly) Fred Thompson is the new Reagan - just without the hair, wit, communication skills, charm, intelligence, integrity, vision, passion and humour.....
