I absolutely adore the shape and the humor of it. I incorrectly assumed that the bottom was closed. To my surprise, it is open! I haven't used it yet or attempted to clean it, but the idea of trying to clean out water marks from the interior of this glass pitcher seems like a nightmare scenario, especially up around the inside of the rim. Obviously hand washing would be required. I like it, but I wish it was enclosed like all my double walled borosilicate glassware, that way it wouldn't just be cute, it would also keep the cream cold for longer, making the design have a practical function as well.

My wife and I had seen these pitchers first-hand, since two different friends own them. What we received from Amazon did not match the illustration on the website or the illustration on the box--the "udders" are hardly more than pimples in this current incarnation. Maybe this is a knock-off from the original, or maybe the standards of production have slipped, but it is no longer remarkable or funny or even noteworthy.

Amazon should check with the manufacturer. I seriously doubt that our particular model was unusual or exceptional.

We intended this as a gift; so the box being scuffed and the pitcher inside being dirty didn't help matters, but that alone didn't lead us to return it. The modified product itself did that.

My grandaugher loves to use this with her cereal. However, it is very light weight and easy to break. Also, it is hard to get milk out of the udders if the milk sits. I have put this creamer in the dishwasher; but, the bottom is open so it fills with dishwasher water when placed upright or upside down. I wish I could find a more sturdy creamer with a closed bottom. Buy it for fun and for the look, but it will need a bit of care.
