It's easy to clean.

He does let some tea leaves through the holes in his pants but if you get a tea that's not finely crushed it isn't that bad.

Works great with all of my loose leaf teas.

This product works out great for a party type exchange of gifts. It is a good conversation piece and at the same time works and is a quick little handy item if you are drinking Tea by yourself. As others have stated, some of the leaves slip through into the tea but that is because of the size of the leaves are too small.

I've been drinking sweetened teas lately and recently ordered this brand; Chocolate Monkey Loose Leaf Tea 4 oz. + FREE Pumpkin Spice Chai 4 oz.. Not sure if it is because it is a blend or because it is a "premium" brand but I don't have any issues with anything getting through, which I cannot say about all the teas in my cupboard.

All you need to do with this little guy is fill his little silicone pants with loose leaf tea, perch him in your cup and let him do the rest! Silicone leaves no aftertaste, so this little guy really perfect as long as you use decent size leaves.

I loved this as soon as I saw it online and bought it for my mom for Christmas. Somehow, turning every cup of tea into a hot tub makes it that much better to drink. The arms are a little flexible, so it fits pretty much all cup sizes and the pants can be turned inside out with ease for quick cleaning. Overall, it's a great little addition to a morning cup of tea and gives you an extra reason to smile

When I was looking around for tea infusers, I saw this and had to have it. I was so excited when I got it and tried it out, and it still makes me smile when I use it. Unfortunately, the joy is somewhat tainted by its functional flaws. Bits of leaves slip through the holes in the silicon no matter how much care I take when filling Mr. Tea's pants. When I use an ordinary metal mesh infuser, that doesn't happen. Also, the silicone holds flavors and odors for a surprisingly long time. If you only drink one type of tea, that's not a problem. But if you tend to drink different flavors or types, you'll either mix flavors or have to run Mr. Tea through the dishwasher.

That being said, I don't regret purchasing him, and I still use him regularly. I just can't use him as much as I would like, and have to keep around an uninteresting but functional metal infuser.

My wife was absolutely delighted with the Fred and Friends Mister Tea Infuser. She thinks this is one of the cutest tea infusers she has ever seen. The soaking in the "hot-tub" theme is fun. The only issue is you have to be sure to get larger cut tea to keep the tea leave parts from getting out into the cup. Otherwise I'd recommend it to others who want to have some fun while prepareing their favorite cup of tea

Mr Tea Infuser is excellent in every possible way EXCEPT one - his purpose - looks great, feels great and lets all the tea leaves through the holes in his pants so that your tea is floating with them. So basically doing the same job as if you made tea without him. Would definitely choose reliability over look and feel next time team! This feels like it was a bit of a waste of money.

I love this Mr. Tea infuser. He holds 1 to 2 cups worth of tea in his trousers. Some of the tea leaves will come through the holes, but it doesn't bother me and most of the leaves drift to the bottom. Mr. Tea enjoys sitting on the edge of your cup soaking in his "hot tub".

Best results come from placing Mr. Tea in the mug first, then pouring in water to at least his waist (if mug permits). He is made completely out of silicone. You could also put in herbs in him and dump the whole guy in a pot of soup (like a bouquet garni); or even put mulling spices in him for some mulled apple cider. His pants are pretty simple to get off and on, but still stay on to where you won't have to worry about them falling off.

It is cute, but not that functional at all. First of all, its arms are not long enough, so if you don't have the appropriate mug, you'll have a hard time to make Fred reach the hot water and keep it there. Second, it's not so easy to wash it. As time passes, the part where you put the tea leaves can get pretty dirty. If you are looking for a fun way to have your tea, go for it. If your aim is, indeed, practicability I would not recommend it.

This little guy is very cute and pretty sturdy. I like that he is dish-washer safe. The problem is that the holes in his pants (where the tea is supposed to be contained while it steeps) are too large. Every cup of tea I make has a small amount of tea leaves floating in it so I wind up straining every cup through a mesh sieve. And frankly, it's not cute enough for that much trouble.
