Yeah, the notepad is funny and all but when you peel off the pages the note rolls up and quite frequently they tear in half, even if you try removing it from different directions. it's a good gag gift, but it's not the most functional notepad one could own.

Just as funny as pictured. I love it. The only problem I had was the pen is not the best quality even for simple ball point - thus four instead of five stars. But if you just want something to set on your desk, perfect.

Great fun for the desktop - my workers know what kind of mood I'm in when they get a note from this pad! Good quality paper, good stickiness, and minimal curling once a sheet is removed from the pad. I have to agree with the other reviewer about the pen - it sucks. A basic Bic works better, which is why this gets four stars instead of five.

This is by far the coolest note pad I have ever used. I saw it in an interview with Stana Katic (Beckett on Castle), and it was used in an episode of the show (season 3). I had to buy it. I love it, it looks so awesome on my desk in my dorm room. The only issues I have with it are that there is no backing, so the hole goes straight through the bottom of the note pad, which gets pen marks on my desk. I just covered it with a piece of a post it. Also, the sticky part is in the middle of the body, so it's awkward to peel one off and not rip it, and there is always sticky residue on the next piece. But other than that, it is fantastic. I will definitely buy another one when I use this one up. :)

Bought this as a Christmas Gift and when it was opened my friend laughed for at least ten minutes. She took it to work and they loved it! Fantastic gift and worth a double take!

While I love the idea, as it suits my sense of humor perfectly. I find that the execution and practicality of the product is a bit lacking.

My only real issue with this item is the placement of the adhesive. It is essentially in the middle of the 'body' or sheet. When you actually go to use this as a note, naturally peeling from the bottom up, the little guy ends up with a ripped left arm, as the paper is not strong enough to withstand the tearing away.

Assuming you learn this the first time and proceed to peel from the 'head' down, the little fellow tends to curl up from his final resting place (where you stick him), as if he were trying to rise from the dead. Interesting effect but not very useful.

Don't get me wrong, it is quite the eye-catching conversation starter, hence the three stars. However, it's a bit overpriced considering that it will end up being just that, a simple novelty item.

Suggestion to Manufacturer: Rethink the placement of the glue and you'll probably have a winner. The head might be a good place to start. :)

I got this for my friend for his birthday. He loved it and it holds a very proud place on his desk at work. Fun gift that is also practical.

I loved the idea of this the first time I saw it so I couldn't resist purchasing it. The paper is perfectly good quality and the sticky side adheres well. There's plenty of sheets on the pad and the pen rests securely in the hole, leaving it accessible as well as giving it that quirky effect that makes it just fun to have on a desk. It looks just as good as it does in the picture.

Downsides, however, are that the adhesive, while extremely efficient, also makes it hard to pull the paper off quickly without tearing off an arm, so it is advisable to pull slowly. Also, the paper does have a tendency to curl at the bottom, especially if it's being stuck to a surface that isn't entirely flat or as big as the adhesive area - which is probably to be expected with a pad of this length. But even that aside, I have been extremely pleased with this product - and the look on people's faces when I write them a note!
